Job Description
As a Manufacturing Manager, you will be part of NPI team of inMusic’s audio products. Your responsibilities will span project management, manufacturing, and cross-functional collaboration. Here is the breakdown of key job functions:
1. Collaboration with Contracted Manufacturers:
Work closely with contracted manufacturers to ensure the smooth execution of inMusic product manufacturing.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to minimize quality risks while maintaining reasonable costs.
2. Development Monitoring and Communication:
Monitor the progress of product development projects.
Facilitate effective communication between teams to achieve project goals.
3. Support for New Product Introduction (NPI):
Assist in NPI activities, including creating and maintaining project documents.
Evaluate samples at different stages of development.
4. Manufacturability Assessment:
Assess the manufacturability of assigned products.
Proactively address quality and manufacturing concerns.
5. Problem-Solving Skills and Attention to Detail:
Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and logical thinking.
Pay meticulous attention to details throughout the project lifecycle.
6. Language Proficiency:
Be proficient in English reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
Effective communication is essential, especially in an international context.
7. Willingness to Travel:
Be open to travel, primarily to China, for on-site evaluations and meetings.
Qualifications
- Education: A relevant degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Engineering, Technical, Business, Manufacturing, Project Management, Science, Management, MBA, or Industrial Engineering is preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in planning, scheduling, and managing complex projects is valuable.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Certifications: Consider certifications such as PMP
- Skills:
Understanding of engineering principles.
Financial acumen related to manufacturing processes.
Awareness of manufacturing technologies to assess and mitigate risks.
- Experience:
Successfully planned and scheduled purchased sub-components for prototypes.
Collaborated with suppliers to establish delivery schedules.
