Job Description

Senior Embedded Software Engineer (ARM team, BSP)
Job description:
1. Review HW design from software point of view
2. Bring up new platforms, and collaborate with HW team to debug and solve issues
3. Port or implement Linux device drivers for peripheral devices
(e.g., V4L2 Camera driver, display panel, audio codec…)
4. Operating system porting(Linux/Android/Yocto/Ubuntu)
- Android HAL implementation
- Create and tweak Yocto meta layer
5. Write test scripts for mass production
6. Solve and clarify issues from customers
Skills:
1. Programming in C/C++, shell script, python
2. Development experience in u-boot and Linux device driver/device tree on ARM platform (e.g., NXP iMX6, iMX8. nVidia Jetson)
3. Linux build framework – Yocto or buildroot
4. Clear concept of embedded linux boot process from u-boot, linux kernel to systemD
5. Familiar with Git
6. Experience with continuous integration system and automated testing processes (Docker, Jenkins)
7. Good communication and problem solving skills
