Job Description
Position Summary:
The accountant is responsible for regulating and authenticating financial transactions, maintains a ledger to ensure effectiveness and accuracy of all accounting tasks. In addition, the accountant can expect to handle multiple tasks with deadlines, have capacity of independent thinking, and open mind to take challenges.
Position Responsibilities:
• Responsible for all accounting activities, including a timely month end close, periodic balance sheet and income statement analysis and journal voucher/invoice preparation and posting.
• Responsible for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance in accounting and prepare all audit requests for internal and external auditors.
• Contact customers for collection of past due invoices
• Prepares weekly reports, including aging, past due, etc. for management
• Reconcile and declare VAT and related Tax issues
• Build and improve key processes and work on ad hoc projects to help leaders best allocate their resources in a rapidly changing environment.
