Job Description
[Position Overview]
ProLogium is looking for a full-time Technical Translator/Interpreter with expertise in English and Chinese, specializing in technical fields. This role requires facilitating precise and efficient communication between multilingual teams, focusing on technical content, including engineering, product development, and system operations.
[Responsibilities]
1. Provide accurate and professional interpreting services (consecutive and simultaneous) in English and Chinese during technical meetings, product briefings, and project discussions.
2. Translate technical documents such as manuals, specifications, and reports to ensure clarity and precision in both languages.
3. Perform in-depth research before assignments to become familiar with technical content and industry-specific terminology.
4. Maintain confidentiality and impartiality in all work and follow professional ethics and standards.
5. Use interpreting equipment such as headsets and microphones as required to ensure effective communication.
6. Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and project teams to ensure smooth and effective communication flow.
7. Continuously develop professional skills and keep up with technical trends and industry updates.
