Job Description

The Sales Director will report directly to the GM, KVA and dotted line report to the CCO.
He/She will be accountable for the performance of company’s sales revenue and margin.
This role will conduct activities to establish and achieve sales and margin objectives. Coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals and establish training programs for sales representatives.
Analyze sales statistics gathered by staff to determine sales potential, inventory requirements, and monitor the preferences of customers.
This person will ensure alignment between the sales team goals and objectives and company business strategy and goals. In addition, this person will drive results and manage change through successful leadership and team development, as well as effective planning, organization, implementation, and execution. Sales Manager and shipping function will report directly to this role.

1. Create and achieve detailed customer sales plan each fiscal year and manage account level P&L Responsible for domestic and foreign business contact and order processing.
2. Responsible for Sales growth of new customers and development of current customers in existing markets.
3. Responsible for the identification, analysis, and decision to open up new geographies, markets, and verticals.
4. Create and manage prioritized list of specific growth opportunities.
5. Maintain expert-level awareness of competitors as well as opportunities to acquire companies, product lines, and technologies.
Additional job descriptions include:
•Matters concerning production and sales analysis and sales forecast, margin analysis, and EBITDA.
•Control department performance, gross profit, and accounts receivable.
•Research and coordination with CCO to build plan and implementation of product positioning, channel policy, and advertising policy.
•Management of order scheduling, product allocation and communication with operations, including coordinating customer order changes/urgent orders with the company.
•Supervising the operation process and goals / objectives of the KV Asia Sales organization.
•Drive Sales team focus, to achieve quarter by quarter, financial results for Direct Sales revenue and margin.
•Mentorship and coaching of sales organization to achieve tactical customer service and sales strategy.
•Build internal MOS based on plan goals and strategic KPIs.
•Key contributor and owner in building and executing improved order to cash process.
•Establish key account plans supported by customer cadence of meetings, sales calls, and direct contact of Distribution and OEM customers to drive to plan and maintain stable customer relationships.
•Make a preliminary assessment of contracts proposed by the customers (transaction conditions, production process, product requirements, after-sales service), and gain approval from CCO when outside the limits of approval as necessary to respond to customer needs in a timely manner.
•Other duties as assigned.
