Job Description
【Purpose】
We are looking for a Business Intelligence Specialist who will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights through the creation of reports, visualizations, and dashboards. This role supports business decision-making by providing comprehensive analyses that address key business issues and drive strategic initiatives.
【Responsibilities】
1. Design and develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations that effectively communicate business insights and metrics to stakeholders.
2. Utilize querying languages such as SQL and scripting languages like R or Python to conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses that address impactful business questions.
3. Leverage business intelligence tools such as Excel and others to produce high-quality reports and interactive dashboards.
4. Work closely with department stakeholders to understand their objectives and KPIs, ensuring that reports and dashboards are tailored to meet specific business needs.
5. Combine analytical findings with subject-matter expertise to deliver clear, insightful recommendations and actionable takeaways for decision-makers.
6. Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing validation processes and troubleshooting discrepancies in reporting.
7. Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
8. Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on the use of BI tools and interpretation of reports and dashboards.
9. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and analytics, recommending enhancements to tools and methodologies as needed.
10. Maintain clear documentation of report specifications, methodologies, and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity within the team.
