【WHAT THIS POSITION IS ABOUT - PURPOSE】

The incumbent is responsible for managing the IFRS financial, statutory, and tax accounting of two entities, JT Tobacco International Taiwan Corp. (JTI Taiwan - market) and Japan Tobacco International Manufacturing Co., Ltd (JTIM - factory), focusing on IFRS compliance for group reporting, the Taiwanese local statutory and tax reporting, ensure all legal requirements are fulfilled correctly and timely. This responsibility entails management of the Company’s general accounting activities, treasury/banking transactions, tax, and audit compliances (Taiwanese GAAP/Tax and IFRS).  The incumbent is also responsible for the enforcement of internal controls, ensuring full compliance with Company Operating Guidelines and JSOX requirements for both JTI Taiwan and JTIM.   The incumbent, as well as the Entity Control and Compliance (ECC) Manager, Finance Supervisors, and Finance Analysts, reports to the Finance Controlling Director.
