Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Review and evaluate thermal design for compliance with technology, development guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality
2. Responsible for system level thermal design focusing on liquid cooling as well as system level control logic
3. Conduct design reviews with cross-functional teams and suppliers. Adhere to robust design methodologies for successful product execution.
4. Conduct feasibility design study and empirical testing for new or modified design optimization and validation
5. Provide design risk assessments, mitigation plans, and development lessons learned.
6. Lead thermal related failure analysis, provide solutions and work with suppliers for implementation
7. Manage relationships with internal and outsourced development partners on thermal design and development
8. Drive innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the thermal design organization.
Key Qualification:
1. Possess knowledge of thermal theory, manufacturing technologies and fundamental server architect.
2. Strong analytical skills and ability to guide critical decisions.
3. Possess good knowledge of liquid cooling (technical expert).
4. 5 years+ experience of Thermal design (work experience in server and/or thermal solution companies is plus.
5. Good written/verbal communications skills in English.
