Job Description
Kudos is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Camp Instructors to lead STEAM-based camps during April, August, and December. These camps run for four weeks, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and focus on providing hands-on, educational activities that inspire creativity and learning in children. The camps also integrate sports activities to foster teamwork and physical development. As a Camp Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, supervising campers, and fostering a fun, safe, and educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Daily STEAM and Sports Activities: Deliver engaging, age-appropriate hands-on activities based on the camp curriculum, ensuring that all students are actively participating in both STEAM and sports activities.
2. Supervise and Ensure Camper Safety: Maintain a safe and positive camp environment by supervising students, managing behavior, and ensuring their well-being throughout the day.
3. Foster Creativity, Exploration, and Physical Activity: Encourage critical thinking and creative problem-solving through STEAM projects, and promote teamwork and physical fitness through sports.
4. Collaborate with Team Members: Work with fellow instructors and camp staff to ensure a cohesive and smooth-running camp experience.
5. Classroom Management: Use positive discipline techniques to manage the classroom, ensuring that all students respect one another and the learning environment.
6. Assist in Camp Setup and Clean-up: Help with setting up the classroom before camp starts each day and ensure that materials are cleaned up and organized at the end of the day.
Qualifications:
+ Experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting (STEAM education and sports coaching experience is a plus).
+ First aid certification is required (the company can sponsor Red Cross certification if needed).
+ Strong communication and classroom management skills.
+ Ability to engage children creatively in hands-on learning and sports activities.
+ Passion for STEAM education and a desire to inspire young learners.
+ Must pass a criminal background check.
+ English-speaking proficiency; ability to lead classes in English.
Camp Details:
+ Duration: 4-week camp during April, August, and December.
+ Class Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
+ Location: Camps are held at various locations across Taipei (Shilin, Neihu, Xindian, Zhongzheng, Linkou).
+ Compensation: NT$16,000 - NT$18,000 per week, based on experience.
