About the Opportunity:

As an Infrastructure Cloud Engineer, you will support the migration of on-premises systems to the AWS cloud, design scalable and cost-effective architectures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Your role includes automating migration tasks, implementing best practices for security and compliance, and troubleshooting issues to ensure smooth operations. Ideal candidates have a degree in Computer Science, experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, proficiency in scripting languages, and knowledge of IaC tools and DevOps practices. Preferred qualifications include AWS certifications, containerization experience, and familiarity with other cloud platforms.

Responsibilities:

1. Support the migration of on-premises systems and applications to the AWS cloud platform.

2. Assist in designing scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud architectures that meet business requirements.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess current infrastructure, identify migration opportunities, and develop migration plans.

4. Participate in automating migration tasks and streamlining processes to accelerate the migration timeline.

5. Assist in implementing best practices for cloud security, compliance, and governance throughout the migration process.

6. Monitor migration progress, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to minimize disruption to operations.

7. Provide support to other team members involved in the migration effort.

8. Contribute to documenting migration processes, configurations, and dependencies for reference and future enhancements.

Requirement:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

2. Experience in designing, implementing, and managing AWS cloud infrastructure, with a focus on migration projects.

3. Understanding of cloud migration methodologies, tools, and best practices.

4. Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell.

5. Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

6. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

7. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

8. Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Haves:

1. AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.

2. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

3. Knowledge of other cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
