[Summary]
The role will iinclude expanding and optimizing the digital commerce platform, incorporating new technologies such as AI and big data, and implementing a global strategy with multilingual support and local solutions. Managing partnerships is also key. This position will enhance user experience, improve operational efficiency, drive business growth, and manage risks. Job responsibilities encompass overseeing platform development, managing projects, collaborating across departments, ensuring technical integration, adapting to various markets, continuously improving platform features, and mitigating risks.
[Responsibilities of the role]
Oversee the development and implementation of the company's digital commerce platform, ensuring project milestones and deadlines are met.
Collaborate with multinational and cross-functional teams including business development, business operation, marketing, developers, designers, and marketers to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets, and adjust as necessary to meet changing requirements and priorities.
Conduct regular project meetings, status updates, and reports to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment across all parties.
Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle, implementing solutions to keep the project on track.
Ensure the platform is scalable, secure, and optimized for performance across all devices.
Provide guidance and leadership to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital commerce to continuously improve the platform.
Coordinate with third-party vendors and partners as needed to support project goals and integrations.
Post-launch, oversee the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of the platform to ensure it meets evolving business needs.
[Qualifications]
Proven experience as a Project Manager, specifically in digital commerce platform development.
Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, technologies, and trends.
Excellent project management skills, including experience with Agile methodologies and tools (such as Jira, Trello, etc.).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.
Experience with platform scalability, performance optimization, and security best practices.
Familiarity with API integrations and third-party e-commerce solutions.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically.
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management within the digital commerce or related field.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
[Preferred Qualifications]
Scrum, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification.
Experience with multi-platform integrations.
Familiarity with digital marketing and SEO best practices.
Experience with platforms such as Magento, Shopify, or similar e-commerce solutions.
Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and practices.
Experience in managing remote or distributed teams.
