Job Description
Reservations Manager is to oversee accuracy of room blocks, reservations, and group market codes. Communicates company values and culture to new employees and reviews and implements new Reservations procedures. Is responsible to assist management in training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating and coaching employees; serve as a role for the Reservations Department. Assists with Revenue Management and other Managerial duties in the absence of the Director of Sales and Marketing.
1. Oversees and manages the daily operations of the Reservations Department and ensures that all team members comply with service standards, departmental policies and operating procedures set by the hotel.
2. Maintain an up to date knowledge of the hotel daily services, activities, promotion, and event. Effectively communicate and update all team members on any changes to ensure guests receive up-to-date information.
3. Ensure all team members recognizes the importance Forbes standards as to deliver excellent audit and service performance.
4. Assign and ensure work tasks are completed on time and that they meet appropriate quality standards.
5. Maintains strong working relationships with other departments to ensure effective communications for operational issues, serves as a role model for inter-departmental collaboration and support
6. Empower team members to take ownership and responsibility in going beyond to exceed guest expectations. Delegate responsibility and expect accountability and regular feedback.
7. Communicate information regarding designated VIP reservations, including VIP name, company, and title to upper level management.
8. Follow “up selling” techniques and sales strategies in order to maximize property revenue.
訂房經理負責監督客房預訂、房間預留及團體市場代碼的準確性。向新員工傳達公司的價值觀和企業文化，並審查和實施新的訂房流程。負責協助管理層在培訓、排班、評估、輔導、紀律處分、激勵和教練員工方面；在訂房部門擔任角色。在市場銷售總監缺席時，協助收入管理和其他管理職責。
