• Connection with assembly packaging house/foundry - IC design experience!!
Job Description:
He/She shall manage, lead & drive the Dept in the area of Supply Chain Management & Sourcing for ASIC products and Medical devices. He/She shall also manage the Quality Assurance dept.
• Work with internal engineering teams and suppliers on new product launches - selecting suppliers, determining BOM, performing cost analysis, new product builds, and product qualifications.
• Work with Sales teams to provide accurate forecasts to suppliers. Analyze and identify risks associated
with the lead times, production capacity, and new business opportunities in the plan.
• Work with suppliers to get commit dates for all short-term build plans and long-term forecasts and capacity allocations.
• Manage expedites for urgent builds/shipments.
• Monitor and drive continuous improvements in lead times, cycle times, quality, yields, and costs at suppliers.
• Support audits; customer, supplier, and internal audits and requirements.
• Manage the business continuity plans internally and for suppliers.
• Work with strategic suppliers and internal customers to proactively identify business opportunities,
drive operational efficiencies and manage technology roadmap.
• Drive aggressive long-term supplier cost reduction roadmaps based on both time and volume.
• Manage, maintain, and look for improvement in the QMS on all sites.
• Ad-hoc projects assigned from time to time.
• Supply Chain sourcing & relationship management experience in the Semiconductor industry & Medical Devices manufacturing.
• Experience managing outsourced/fabless supply chain.
• Ability to establish internal Quality best practices, monitor & implement process changes.
• Help to drive potential Qualifications or Certifications that may be required per company direction.
