Job Description
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support direct sales objectives.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, forecasts, and budgets.
• Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Oversee the preparation of sales reports and commission calculations.
• Develop and manage the annual budget for the direct sales department.
• Monitor expenditures and ensure alignment with budgetary constraints.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations for cost control.
• Manage cash flow to ensure the company’s financial stability.
• Oversee accounts receivable and payable.
• Implement strategies to optimize cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks.
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.
• Lead and develop the finance team, providing guidance and support.
• Foster a collaborative environment with the sales team to align financial and sales goals.
• Provide training on financial processes and systems.
• Support strategic decision-making by providing financial insights.
• Participate in business development and strategic planning activities.
• Evaluate new business opportunities and their financial implications.
• Improve financial systems, processes, and controls.
• Business partnering to support business growth by providing financial insights, solutions, and decision making.
• Analyze monthly profitability, activities, cost center, etc.
• Prepare and submit monthly reporting to HQ Office including monthly sales analysis/ quarterly forecast, P/L analysis/Cash flow/Capex analysis.
• Actively engage in planning process (Annual budgeting and Cycling updates) and company long term plan. Work with Marketing / dealer Sales teams to ensure alignment between business strategies and execution.
• To highlight potential company Risk/Opportunity to management team.
• To carry out budgetary control of the operations, analyzing the deviations that may occur with respect to the original budget/Rolling forecast.
• Able to independently perform financial evaluation and work with related parties on business initiatives, e.g. new product launches, product promotions and ad hoc financial analysis per management’s request.
• Ability to manage complex business issues, projects, and processes.
• Continuously to enhance efficiency in budget & finance management process via standardization, simplification, and automation and ensure its compliance.
