Materials are key to Innovation and Product Excellence. We have a unified Materials Manufacturing organization which will transform our material capabilities, teams, and processes and accelerate our vision to serve every athlete*.
As a Material Developer II on the Materials Manufacturing team, you will use your technical materials knowledge and critical thinking skills to develop yarn and textiles from inception to commercialization. You will collaborate with internal partners and external suppliers to execute developments on-time and consistent with Nike expectations on cost, quality, and speed. You understand the dynamics of supply chain, creating material solutions that support resilience, responsiveness, and sustainability.
Detail-oriented and results-driven, you thrive in a cross-functional environment. You are analytical and able to leverage systems and data to accurately synthetize information critical for yarn and textile development. You will represent Nike Materials Manufacturing and are comfortable engaging with different external manufacturing vendors and internal teams, tailoring your messages accordingly and building partnerships. This role is perfect for a team-player with drive, curiosity, and great communication skills.
【工作內容】
• You will analyze material data and information to appropriately manage yarn and textile development. With your technical experience, you’ll initiate material development needs and troubleshooting issues preventing commercialization targets (cost, quality, aesthetic, scalability, and end use). You will engage directly with vendors, ensuring they deliver their developments on time and mitigating risks as needed. You will also support the creation of processes, analyze data, and deliver materials that meet Nike’s aesthetic and performance (testing) requirements.
• Your typical day/week will include supporting business process operations, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on yarn/textile development, and managing various development and project priorities. You’ll work within the Nike Materials ecosystem to deliver new material solutions and troubleshoot issues that may hinder success.
【WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH】
This role reports into the Material Development Director and will interact closely with key functional partners in Material and Product Supply Chain, Product Creation, and Product Integrity. Externally, this role will interact directly with our manufacturing vendors.

【工作條件】
-學歷要求：擁有材料科學、紡織技術或相關學位的學士學位（或具有同等工作經驗）
-工作經驗：3年以上相關材料工作經驗（材料開發、產品或製造）
-材料知識：熟悉針織、織布、染色及印刷/整理技術，具備紗線製造(spun and filament, synthetic and natural fiber content)的知識和經驗者優先
-溝通能力：優秀的書面和口頭溝通能力，包括會議溝通以及報告
-項目管理：強大的項目和時間管理技能，致力於按時交付任務
-協作能力：具備資源整合能力，能跨部門合作
-影響力：能夠影響各外部合作夥伴和內部跨部門合作團隊
-跨部門合作能力：能夠與外部合作夥伴和內部利益相關者進行跨部門合作
