Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled HPC Systems Engineer to join our team and contribute to cutting-edge development projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of high-performance computing (HPC) concepts, protocols, and resource management.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain HPC infrastructure, including clusters, schedulers, and storage systems, in a cloud environment.
- Be responsible for server administration, evaluation, planning, configuration, tuning and troubleshooting multiple large scale clustered / highly available HPC environments.
- Design, develop, and optimize HPC applications and workflows.
- Analyze and improve HPC performance and resource utilization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of HPC concepts, including parallel processing, distributed computing, and message passing interface (MPI).
- Experience with HPC resource management tools (e.g., Slurm, PBS).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ or Python.
- Knowledge of HPC hardware architectures (e.g., CPUs, GPUs, accelerators).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
