Job Description
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a HW/EE Design Manager / Technical Lead located in Taiwan Taipei Wugu Site.
Reporting to EE Director, The HW/EE Design Manager / Technical Lead performs the responsibility for leading an Electrical Engineering team that will design and build exciting, innovative products with a world class team.
What a typical day looks like:
1. Successfully manage an Electrical Engineering team for Server & Storage device.
2. Provide strategic as well as tactical contributions to the conceptual and detailed design and a variety of devices and provide leadership to the Design teams as well as the other disciplines associated with the productizing of Server & Storage products.
3. Be considered as an expert in his or her technical field as well as having a proven track record of success regarding team leadership and motivation, business negotiations, program management, budgeting responsibilities and overall program ownership.
4. Demonstrate a detailed understanding of the significance of time to market, risk mitigation, contingency plans, return on investment, etc.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:
1. BS in Electrical Engineering or related field. Prefer MS or PhD in Engineering.
2. 10+ years of related experience in developing and supporting Server & Storage products.
3. At least 5 years of people management experience.
4. In-depth knowledge of the EE domain.
5. Demonstrated leadership in working through complex problems in a multi-disciplinary environment.
6. Demonstrated experience in integrating with cross functional groups including manufacturing, test, reliability, quality, sourcing, ID and compliance.
7. Excellent interpersonal skills, communication and collaboration skills.
8. Demonstrated competencies in customer focused innovation, technical excellence, strategic insight, impact and influence across a product group or beyond, and passion for quality.
Here are a few of our preferred experiences:
1. Excellent communication skills, leadership, people management, program management skills, self-motivation and the ability to successfully deal with ambiguity are a must.
2. Direct and recent experience in Server & Storage product development, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and a successful history of working with Industrial Design and Marketing is a plus.
3. A general knowledge of electrical engineering methodologies and tools, Pro Engineer, tooling, File documentation protocol, Bill of Material Structuring and related file management tools is a requirement.
4. The candidate must have actively participated in the management of design, documentation and qualification of Server & Storage product within the last few years.
5. Good communication in English. TOEIC score up to 700.
