Reporting directly to the Executive Director, Accounting/ Bookkeeping Coordinator is responsible for providing basic accounting and bookkeeping support to the organization. Responsibilities Operational: Assist the Executive Director in the development of work plans in conjunction with programming staff. Track project progress, manage deadlines, ensure proper internal review before report submissions. In a small NGO like CLW, the incumbent will have ample opportunity to learn and actively participate in various aspects of our work. The incumbent will assist CLW with Chinese-English or English-Chinese translations, including CLW investigative reports and other materials for Chinese and English speaking audiences. The incumbent will carry out other tasks under the direction including seeking out and applying for funding opportunities, Bookkeeping, correspondence, and research. The intern will assist in administrative tasks when necessary. We are especially interested in candidates who may be interested in staying past the three-month internship period. Qualifications: Applicants should be well-organized, self-motivated and reliable, with a strong interest in workers' human rights. Oral and written fluency in Chinese and proficiency in English is a must. Translation experience is desirable. Interest in Chinese labor issues is also desirable.
