About the job: • Support commodity team to work with Asia suppliers to solve issues like quality, delivery, components shortage, etc. • Support on Asia supplier negotiation for assigned commodity for cost reduction, payment term extension, supplier consolidation activities, etc. • Conduct market research to gain market intelligence and explore new suppliers and product offerings in Asia market. • Assist on internal reports according to company policies and procedures • Other duties as assigned. Reporting to Sales Director, you as an Associate Account Manager will be responsible for managing Japanese Electronics and Industrial customer accounts with attention to maintaining strong relationships with existing customer base, exploring additional sales opportunities, and resolution of issues; generating profitable growth with existing customer base and identifying new opportunities. About the job: • Maintains strong relationships with Japanese Electronics and Industrial customers; responsible for issuing sales quotes, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining customer relationship. • Identifies solutions to moderately complex barriers to close the sale. • Marketing activities related to product development working with engineering and PM in the electronics and industrial markets • Updates and maintains account information, including order history, pricing, potential new sales opportunities, communications, sample requests, etc. • Other duties as assigned.
