Job Description
We're looking for talented Research Associates to join our young company! This is an unique opportunity to join an multi-national (Oxford/Taipei/NewYork) biotech in the field of RNA drug discovery and liver diseases.
Position: Part-Time Weekend Laboratory Assistant
Location: Ochre-Bio, Taipei
Job Type: Part-Time (Weekends)
Responsibilities:
• Assist with laboratory experiments and procedures during the weekend.
• Perform tasks such as changing culture media, harvesting experiment samples, and preparing reagents.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and protocols under the supervision of senior laboratory staff.
• Document experimental procedures, observations, and results accurately.
• Adhere to safety regulations and protocols at all times.
• Communicate effectively with laboratory team members regarding experiment progress
Requirements:
• Previous laboratory experience or coursework in biology, chemistry, or a related field preferred. Students are welcome to apply.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks accurately and precisely
• Self-motivated, technically competent and capable of working independently within the laboratory
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and experiment schedules.
• We prefer candidates who reside in or in the vicinity of Nangang area.
Working Hours:
Part-time position, working weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday).
Flexible scheduling based on laboratory experiment needs and availability.
