The Business Planning & Performance Managemenet (BPM) role will be integral to Advantech’s mission of driving strategic and financial insights to support key business decisions. This role requires an agile thinker who can thrive in a dynamic environment, collaborating closely with the sales department to develop impactful strategies and analyses. Following an initial six-month training period in Taipei headquarter office, this position will be based in our South Korea Branch, reporting directly to the Managing Director in the South Korea Branch.
What You Will Do:
[Business Partnering & Decision Support]
- Facilitate the business strategy planning process, providing insights with solid financial and business rationale.
- Support the management team in setting strategic direction, innovating business models, and ensuring cross-functional strategic alignment.
[Performance Management & Financial Planning]
- Deliver relevant business insights through financial result analysis, including revenue, cost and margin, productivity, etc.
- Develop and maintain financial models to project business performance and evaluate potential scenarios.
- Perform ad hoc business and financial analyses, as well as industry and market research to identify trends and opportunities.
- Provide insights from market analysis to inform strategic decisions and business planning.
[Management Process Monitoring & Data Management]
- Discover business opportunities according to management strategies and industry trends.
- Support decision-making for efficient organizational management.
- Set a mid- to long-term business entry roadmap.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with corporate strategy.
What You Must Have:
- Over 3 years of relevant work experience; cross-functional experience is preferred.
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g. Python, SQL).
- Proficient in English communication (Intermediate Korean is desired).
- Excellent collaboration skills.
- Able to take initiative with proactive attitude, attention to details, and strong numerical accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to understand organizational dynamics.
