Summary:
We are seeking a talented Technical Support Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our codebase. You will be responsible for identifying and resolving complex issues on Cobalt browser for YouTube web application, collaborating with internal teams to ensure optimal system performance.
Responsibilities:
-Analyze and debug complex technical issues within Cobalt browser with YouTube.
-Leverage debugging tools and techniques (gdb, logcat, valgrind, etc.) to diagnose root causes of application configuration, performance, videoplayback, and random crash issues across Cobalt devices and platforms.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to effectively triage and escalate issues.
-Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
Minimum Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
-Proven experience (3+ years) developing and debugging C++ code.
-Experience using debugging tools like gdb, logcat, and valgrind.
-Experience working in a Linux/Android environment.
-Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
-Fluency in Mandarin and English (written and spoken).
