About the Role

Join the Security Foundation Services team as a Software Engineer, where you will be instrumental in architecting and developing services that ensure reliable, scalable, and high-performance core functionalities for the Security Cloud. This includes working on a configuration synchronization service that handles 100GB configurations daily across global AZ/Regions of public cloud platforms, and a notification aggregation service that processes 3,000 events per second.

What You Will Be Doing

Designing, developing, and maintaining key foundation services that operate in public cloud platforms globally.

Collaborating with product managers and senior architects to refine and implement feature requirements.

Improving the scalability and resiliency of our cloud services.

Writing clean, maintainable code that is well-documented and adheres to company standards.

Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with the team.

Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to performance, scalability, and system architecture.

Required Skills and Experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, or Java.

Experience with Kubernetes and cloud solutions such as AWS or GCP.

Strong understanding of distributed systems and familiarity with microservices architecture.

Experience in building and maintaining high-load distributed applications.

Solid understanding of computer architecture, including multi-threading, CPU scheduling, and memory management.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and challenges.

Background in cyber security, networking and endpoint is a plus.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. Master’s degree is preferred.
