About the Role
The Sales Administrator will play an important role in driving our anime licensing by identifying Event opportunities; prospecting and securing new licensees and building strong relationships with current licensees and partners. In this role, you will support the Event team and events, experience licensing and define the future strategy of our events for the Muse’s anime brand, with the ultimate goal of connecting our fans with experiencing events and authentic products in fun and engaging ways!
This role will require travel throughout Asia.
Responsibilities
• Manage the creative outputs of partners including the appropriate sign-off, across Muse’s anime brands.
• In collaboration with the Event team to identify, pitch, and sign new customers tied to specific revenue in Asia and annual growth for the overall Muse’s Events business in Asia.
• Developing, cultivating, and maintaining business accounts in assign territories.
• Manage day-to-day business, including all aspects of category management: financials, contracts (new deals, amendments and renewals), category analysis, product development strategy, and retail placement
• Partner with the Event team to develop the category strategies at all levels of retail and ecommerce
• Update and maintain all internal documents and trackers
• Oversee new contract negotiations, ensuring the terms will meet the company requirements and overall business objectives
Qualifications
• Experience in the licensing industry working in sales and/or brand management
• Experience pitching properties, securing deals, negotiating deal points and managing licensees; preferably in character or entertainment
• Motivated self-starter who demonstrates strong initiative, creativity and excellent work ethic
• A proactive, solution driven mindset to deliver against deadlines.
• Flexible team player with positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively across the company
• Strong organizational skills and ability to think strategically to complete tasks in a timely fashion
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of administrative organization
• Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• Problem solver that acts decisively and demonstrates good judgement
• Thrives in a fast paced, changing environment that necessitates working on many different projects simultaneously
• Proficient in MS Office programs (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
• College degree, preferably in Business or related field, an asset
Language Proficiency
Proficiency in written and spoken English is required, Fluency in Chinese is a plus.
