Supply Chain Specialist/Procurement Specialist is one of the most important functions in the company because of the nature of the trading business. The goal of this function is not only to ensure a smooth supply procedure but also to lead the supply team to higher objectives. This person will be responsible for day-to-day procurement process, communication with multiple parties, while also accountable for supplier management and procurement assistance.

Criteria:

1. Education/Experience:

Bachelor degree or equivalent experience on Engineering, Finance or Business Administration.

0-3 years of experience in supply chain function.

2. Knowledge/Skills:

Mastery in English and Chinese language.

Excellent in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PPT…etc.)

Basic understanding of procurement processes.

Developed communication skills.

Basic understanding of corporate compliance.

Responsibility:

1. Procurement/Supply Chain Management:

Carry out/overlook the purchasing and supply chain activity which includes negotiation, documentation, international logistics and custom clearance. Communicate with international suppliers/logistic companies/custom broker to ensure the products are competitive in price, adequate in quantity and delivered on-time.

It is a pivotal role in the company as explained earlier in the first part, but it is also the spot where you can acquire the widest spectrum of insight into the nature of our business as you will be constantly in touch with global suppliers, R&D people, logistic firms and domestic custom.

2. Team Coordination:

Following the previous column, collaborate between international suppliers and internal teams(R&D, Sales, Finance) would be your daily task, being able to convey ideas in English and Chinese is quite important.

3. Product Sourcing/Development:

Support Development Team in sourcing novel products, analyze international trends, and designing product developing scheme.
