Job Description
Legal Entity : Merck Ltd.
<Your Role>
1. Support daily import and export operation including SAP system handling and
collaboration with 3rd party custom broker, freight forwarder, and 3PL carrier.
2. Utilize and maintain the scorecards and reports to monitor and control the overall
import and export Leadtime and cost.
3. Take the lead to manage and improve supplier performance including freight
forwarder, customs broker, and 3PL carrier.
4. Handle invoice verification operation and try to improve the cost and spending.
5. Responsible for collect, maintain, and analyze all Distribution related data for
reporting to stakeholder.
6. Communication orally and in writing to all stakeholders including oversea staff, Sr.
managers and leadership management about the shipment performance.
7. Challenge the status quo and initiate any improvement project to improve internal
and external import and export process.
8. Handle complaints for any non-performance and follow up with oversea supplier
or any 3rd party logistics service supplier.
9. Support work or task from line manager.
