Job description :

Candidate who specializing in Japanese customer projects is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end execution of projects. This role demands a deep understanding of Japanese business culture, communication norms, and project management methodologies to effectively liaise between the Advantech and Japanese clients, ensuring successful project delivery.

Responsibilities of the role:

1.Project Planning and Coordination:

Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Coordinate project activities, resources, and deliverables to ensure alignment with Japanese customer requirements and expectations.

2.Customer Relationship Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact for Japanese clients, fostering strong relationships and managing communications effectively.

Facilitate regular meetings, updates, and status reports to keep stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.

3.Risk Management and Issue Resolution:

Proactively identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.

Promptly address challenges and concerns raised by Japanese clients, leveraging cross-cultural competence to navigate and resolve conflicts effectively.

4.Quality Assurance and Compliance:

Ensure that project deliverables meet or exceed Japanese customer expectations in terms of quality, performance, and compliance with contractual agreements.

Conduct regular assessments and audits to verify adherence to project specifications and standards.

5.Continuous Improvement:

Collect feedback from Japanese clients and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for process optimization and service enhancement.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline project workflows, increase efficiency, and maximize customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications :

1.Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree or certification in Project Management is a plus.

2.Proven experience (3 years at least) in OEM/ODM project management roles, with a focus on managing projects for Japanese clients

3.Fluency in Japanese language (written and spoken) is essential, along with proficiency in English for effective communication with internal teams.

4.Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively across diverse cultural backgrounds.

5.Demonstrated proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile, MS project, etc.

6.Excellent problem-solving skills, with a track record of successfully navigating complex challenges and delivering results in high-pressure environments.
