Job Description

Reports To: Senior Sales Director
Location: Taipei, Taiwan
Summary:
The APAC Regional Sales Manager is a highly motivated, results-oriented professional responsible for leading and managing sales operations across specific countries in APAC region 2. This individual will be accountable for achieving sales targets, expanding market share, and building strategic partnerships in this diverse and dynamic market. The position requires strong leadership skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to drive high-performance sales teams across multiple countries and cultures.
Responsibilities:
• Sales Leadership:
o Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for the APAC region, aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
o Oversee the activities of sales teams across the APAC region 2, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
o Set and monitor individual and team performance targets, ensuring that sales quotas are met or exceeded.
• Market Development:
o Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs within the diverse APAC market.
o Develop and implement strategies to expand market share and increase brand visibility across different countries and cultures.
o Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with distributors, resellers, and other key stakeholders across the region.
• Channel Management:
o Manage and optimize the distribution channels across the APAC region, tailoring strategies to the unique characteristics of each market.
o Develop and implement channel partner programs to enhance sales performance and drive revenue growth.
o Conduct regular performance reviews with channel partners to identify areas for improvement and address any challenges.
• Financial Management:
o Develop and manage regional sales budgets, ensuring that expenses are controlled and aligned with revenue targets.
o Analyze sales data and generate regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity across the APAC region.
Qualifications:
• Language Skills: Fluency in English. Proficiency in other Asian languages such as Japanese or Korean is a plus.
• Sales Experience: Proven track record of success in sales leadership, preferably within the APAC region.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams across different cultures to achieve high performance.
• Cultural Awareness: Deep understanding of the cultural nuances and business practices within the diverse APAC region.
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to adapt to different cultural contexts.
• Negotiation Skills: Proven negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with distributors, resellers, and other partners across the region.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans for regional growth in the APAC market.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems, Power BI, Excel and other sales tools.
Additional Requirements:
• Willingness to travel extensively within the APAC region.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
