Summary
We are assembling a world-class acoustics team that will perform research and development of acoustic solutions that provide users with exceptional experiences. We are a team that demonstrates and shares its passion of audio through the innovative platforms and products we develop. We have expertise in audio system design, integration, and manufacturing. We work in a diverse, highly collaborative, cross-functional environment to develop innovative, high quality audio systems for application in home, hearables, conferencing, professional and automotive market segments.
We are searching for a System Acoustics Engineer to join our team to help developing high quality audio products from concept through to production.
Key Qualifications
• Strong background in acoustics industry.
• Knowledge of the fundamentals of transducers or microphones.
• Understanding and familiar with measurement equipment like Audio Precision, Klippel RD, Soundcheck, etc.
• Experience with DSP platform, ability to understand HW design & audio DSP signal flows.
• Strong analytical capability of acoustic simulation and measurement results
• Proven experience of effective communication and presentation skills
• Learning attitude with an attention to detail
• Excellent teamwork in a dynamic project environment.
Description
You will be working with a team of acoustic, mechanical, hardware, software, DSP engineers to design, develop new audio products and evaluate acoustic performance.
This role requires an ability to think critically, work with a hands-on, “get it done” approach. You have strong internal drive, a tenacious spirit, a collaborative method of working, and a deep commitment to delivering innovative solutions, all driven by a core passion for audio. You will be a fluent Mandarin and English speaker, able to converse freely in either language.
Education & Experience:
• Degree in Acoustics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, and other science/technology subject if relevant
• 3+ years of acoustic experience
• Deeply passionate and knowledgeable about audio engineering
• Bilingual – Mandarin and English speaker
Additional preferred skills:
• Teleconferencing testing experience (MS Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, etc)
• Musical background
