1. Prepare and file domestic (Taiwan and U.S.) and international (PCT, Madrid) patent and trademark applications. 2. Keep track of patent and trademark application progress and filing schedule. 3. Manage and docket patent and trademark-related documents. 4. maintain the case management/docketing system. 5. Communicate and coordinate with USPTO, TIPO, clients, our collaborating patent firms and agents. 6. Assist in some admin matters such as invoice issuance. 7. Other duties as assigned.

1. Draft the English patent applications and responses for office actions during patent prosecution. Also, translate patent applications (Chinese to English or English to Chinese). 2. Review prior art references and analyze Office Actions from various countries, including U.S., Europe, China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, etc. 3. Communicate with the U.S. Patent Examiners and foreign patent agents/attorneys regarding patent applications and office actions. 4. Conduct patent infringement and invalidity analysis for patent disputes, including U.S. and Taiwan patent infringement litigations. 5. technical support for patent disputes, including U.S. patent litigations.

1. Draft various contracts and legal opinions, as well as consult on various legal matters. 2. Familiar with or interested in startup related legal issues, both U.S. and Taiwan. 3. Handle IP (patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secrets) disputes, including negotiation, licensing, and litigation globally, including U.S. and Taiwan. 4. Draft various investment and finance related contracts for startups, funds VC etc. 5. Research various legal issues, including financing and investment related issues. 6. Assist in business development activities. 7. Handle global trademark and design patent prosecution. (optional) 8. Other legal related matters.
