Automation Workshop Engineer
To ensure optimal operation of MAN workshop and the ability to provide materials, parts and tools relevant to on-site work, the engineer shall manage all parts and tools stored in the workshop and take care of workshop safety issue, including equipment inspection and certification, tool periodic calibration, electrical power inspection, etc.
The engineer is also responsible for manpower support to the field service team on automation job of engine onboard or overhaul job of subcomponent of engine.
Key duties for the role
• Deliver parts or tools needed onboard to support the work onsite as necessary
• Carry out daily tool maintenance, including repair and grinding of partially damaged tools, anti-rust treatment of tools, and timely delivery of tools requiring repair or polishing to suppliers
• Responsible for functionality and reliability of workshop devices and carrying out a preventative maintenance program and inspection tasks
• Create a safe, healthy working environment by using defined standards and procedures
• Assist sales team and forwarders with receiving parts, temporary storage and dispatching
• Manage MAN Taiwan's own stock, participate in inventory counts
• Proceed the automation work of engines onboard if needed
