The joint development engineer is responsible to determine factory joint parameters for all projects. The joint development engineer is also responsible for the managing of the factory jointers including planning of training. Above responsibilities include the following details. • Disciplinary responsible for FJ jointers. • Create Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) for FJ testing. • Determine factory joint parameters (temperatures and durations). • Optimize the process to determine factory joint parameters, e.g., by performing of thermal simulations. • Responsible for maintenance of jointing tools. • Internal or external ordering of semi-con and insulating XLPE tapes. • Planning of work plans for jointers taking demands from projects into account. • Coordinate the jointing for projects with production team on a regular basis. • Coordinate external party for x-ray inspections on joints. • Cooperate with quality department on quality related matters. • Ensure safe working environment during jointing and jointing training. • When no jointing for projects is required, organize the training for the jointers including testing of samples. • Coordinate sample testing with R&D Test Laboratory Manager.

The marine engineer shall support the cable design team by analyzing the performance of different cable designs in a marine environment. The marine engineer shall understand the impact of different cable design parameters on the installability of submarine cables as well as long-term mechanical effect like fatigue performance. Besides cable design tasks, the marine engineer shall be the responsible interface to potential CPS supplier, no matter whether hired by the client or WECS. The marine engineer shall also be able to evaluate installation analysis done by cable installation contractors. Above responsibilities include the following details. • Perform mechanical analysis of cables designs, e.g., bending stiffness, fatigue resistance, on-bottom stability, etc. • Feedback findings from the analysis to the cable design team. • Perform pull in analysis. • Support the development department with determination of mechanical test parameters. • Perform burial risk assessments and burial tool selection. • Read and understand weather data provided by clients. • Support the design process of CPS

• Discuss with Design, Commercial, Production and Testing department to build single project schedule in order to build overall schedule for multi-projects. • Controlling and maintaining time schedules and performing schedule analyses. • Communicating and reporting progress, performance and forecast on a regular basis. • Preparing and updating the final project timeline report. • Managing the schedule trend analysis, conducting professional scenario analyses, tracking of milestones, preparing critical path and float analyses and progress S-curves • Supporting the project management team in key decision making by delivering scheduling inputs, as well as assessing schedule risks and opportunities

The lead engineer is responsible for the preparation of the technical part of a project specific proposal. These include the responsibility for a timely response to the commercial team as well as timely input to the approval process by senior management. Main duties include: • Check technical documentation provided by the client • Summarize design relevant information and provide this information to the design engineers • Coordinate the design process within the engineering team and with other WECS functions like testing team, production team and commercial team • Organize design review meetings with production, testing and commercial team to agree the technical solution for the proposal • Collect the material, production, testing and any other relevant cost as input for the commercial team • Prepare a technical risk assessment based on the client's requirements and the technical solution • Mitigate technical risk by adjusting the technical solution as far as reasonably possible • Support the legal and commercial team to mitigate risks within the contract as far as reasonably possible • Prepare technical proposal documentation • Request technical reports from subject matter experts and follow up on provision of the reports • Lead technical alignment meetings with the client during the negotiation phase • Feedback changes in the technical solution based on technical negotiations to other WECS functions, adjust costs and technical documentation • Managing Contract, Cost, Risk, Interface, Document control and Schedule during execution phase.

海纜設備機台操作： (1).負責生產線機器、設備之操作，並維持機台正常運作。 (2).進行現場產品製程作業。 (3).與其他作業員進行協調，以符合生產及程序標準。 (4).填寫生產報表，以檢視與生產目標的距離。 (5).完成主管交辦有關生產產品、程序事宜。 可配合至新北市新莊廠以及國外短期受訓(公司供住宿)。
