As a Payroll Specialist, you will manage and execute payroll processing, guaranteeing the accurate and timely distribution of paychecks for all clients. Your expertise in payroll operations and advanced skill sets will be critical in ensuring compliance with tax regulations and company policies. The roles and responsibilities include, but not limited to: • Utilize payroll software to manage compensation packages, ensuring efficient processing of all payroll transactions. • Collect and verify timekeeping information for clients and calculate pay based on hours worked including sick leave, vacation, and overtime. • Calculate bonuses, commissions, taxes, deductions, and employee reimbursements. Initiate payroll payments through checks or direct deposits timely. • Update payroll records with changes in pay rates, employee status changes, raises, etc. Calculate unemployment and severance payments. • Handle health benefits and 401K administration. • Address clients' inquiries regarding payroll and HR. • Prepare and submit payroll reports to supervisors or clients as required. • Maintain the high confidentiality and security of clients' sensitive information and ensure the protection of payroll operations. • Assist with the company's recruiting process. • Assist with maintaining the company's social media accounts.
