Main roles/responsibilities
• Design, execute, and analysis of experiments of iPSC editing, differentiation and characterization.
• Identify and optimize novel strategies to characterizing iPSC and iPSC derivative.
• Work with the GxP team to perform daily laboratory maintenance tasks including cell culturing, ordering reagents, maintaining stocks, and aliquoting solutions, etc. in GxP environment.
• Write and revise standard operating procedures relating to iPSC characterization.
• Be responsible for preparation of characterization reports and test methods.
• Ensure timely completion of testing and tasks as assigned.
• Analyze data, monitor assay quality, troubleshoot, and present data to project team groups and other research organization.
• Demonstrated accountability and be flexible to change project objectives according to the project needs.
Job Requirement
• A Ph.D. training and at least 2 years industry experience in Stem Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Development, Immunology, Biochemistry, or related fields.
• Extensive laboratory experience in designing and conducting experiments to address complex scientific questions, demonstrating problem-solving skills.
• In-depth understanding of, cell biology, molecular biology, cell therapy and the principles of cellular immunotherapy.
• Extensive experience in molecular biology and cell biology techniques, such as mammalian cell culture, flow cytometry, immunolabeling, ddPCR, and genomic analysis etc.
• Ability to work on weekends for iPSC cell culture, take turns to be on duty.
• Self-motivated and passionate, with strong multi-tasking abilities and a commitment to working efficiently and productively in a fast-moving and highly collaborative environment.
• The successful candidate should have the ability for independent thinking, troubleshooting, excellent communication, and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of GMP regulations is preferred.
